The Secret Place
Oh blessed time of aloneness,
When we bid our soul be still,
In the quietness of the secret place,
We find His Presence there so real.
Glad time of sweet surrender,
As we bare to Him our heart,
By Love's embrace in the secret place,
Abundant Life He does impart.
Oh blessed time of glad communion,
In such great Love our hearts rejoice,
With open face in the secret place,
We hear and know His tender voice.
So find your soul a secret place,
In the Spirit there to ascend,
It's in that blessed solitude,
You will find your soul's best friend.
