As man travels upon natural waters, he depends on a ship or boat.
He enjoys the journey as he goes along, without a thought while he’s afloat.
Let a hole develop in the vessel, panic would certainly be the actual case,
As the water began to rise, beginning somewhere down below in the hull or base.
Those who could not swim would certainly fear they would meet a watery grave,
Forgetting in all the hustle and bustle, the one aboard able to calm and save.
As we travel on the waters of life, we are all riding in the same ship or boat.
We are often unconscious of the Christ within, the one who keeps our ship afloat.
In Him we live, move, and have our being, we are definitely our father’s offspring,
No matter where we go or what we do, it does not alter the truth or change a thing.
Christ, who is our breath and source of life, deserves that we give Him full control.
Until this mortal body puts on immortality, man has somehow missed the final goal.
For generations man’s boat has sunk as darkness and death took their awful tole.
In the fullness of time God sent the son through light and life He plugged the hole.
Still our boat continues to sink for lack of Truth and natural or carnal thinking.
When true light has been unveiled, the Christ will stop our boat from sinking.
It is time yea it is high time we arise from sleep and begin to be conscious or awake.
To go upstream in a raging torrent is a narrow chance most of us aren’t willing to take.
In the waters down below are sickness, pain, sorrow, carnal desires, and all grief,
The only way anyone can stay afloat is genuine faith through a strong belief.
This is not attained by our own efforts though we may try to say and do what is right,
We will never understand or see the Truth until Father turns on his glorious light.
The boat or ship in which we are riding is spiritual and invisible to the natural eye,
There is true rest in this spiritual boat but what our senses tell us will always be a lie.
