BEHOLD THE LAMB
Behold the lamb, the lamb was slain,
Before our world began.
A sacrifice in the heart of God,
For the redemption of fallen man.
In the fullness of time, he was manifest,
They hung him on a tree,
They pierced his side, on the cross he,
Died to set all creation free.
Behold the lamb, this lamb arose,
From the tomb wherein he lay.
He talked with those he gladly chose,
As disciples in that day.
I surely must go as I told you so,
But I will return to be,
Manifest through the lives of those,
Who will believe on me.
Behold the lamb, this lamb is come,
He is that living bread,
That man could eat and never die,
That is what this lamb said.
We must believe in order to receive,
The eternal life he gives,
The self must die to completely rely,
On this lamb who forever lives.
