CHRIST REVEALED

God so Loved that he gave his son,

That through his life, we might be one.

Let us cease from self and to him yield,

That the Christ of God can be revealed.

It’s not by works, lest we should boast,

But death to self through the Holy Ghost,

Our father does know those he has sealed,

Through whom the Christ shall be revealed.

Let us make our calling and election sure,

Rejoice and give thanks as we endure,

The cross to which we all must yield,

For the Christ within to be revealed.

God help us see and to understand,

That the Day of the Lord is nigh at hand,

When his Word in us shall be fulfilled,

And the Christ of God will be revealed.
