Today, I want to look at the statement that I keep repeating. "WE ARE SPIRIT
BEINGS".
I'm not going to go into this really deep, as you can take this to Father and
allow Him to show you all things. Let's begin with Gen 1:27 And let me ask you
ONE favor, don't add any; yeah buts, ifs, just allow the Spirit of God, which
you are, show you things.
Gen. 1:26-27, " And God said, Let make man in our image, after our likeness; and
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth. (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image
of God created he him; male and female created he them".
I want to look at a few things here. God created man in God's image. First, what
is God?
John 4: 24, "GOD IS A SPIRIT..."
Ok, let's just forget everything else for right now. There is no uncertainty,
God is a Spirit. Right? Now, He said, "Let us make man in our image and
likeness.." Right? What is His image and likeness? It is SPIRIT. So, either
God did or God did not make us in His Image. Don't look at yourself, because if
you do, you won't see a Spirit, you'll see what we've been taught AFTER God made
up His mind as to creating us. God created us, as He is, a Spirit Being. And
the written Word tells us that EVERYTHING that God created, (Duet 32:4). So, God
has created a perfect Spirit Being. Are you with me, so far? Ok,
Now, I want to show you some proof. That's what everyone looks for PROOF.
Gen 2:4-5, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they
were created in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.(5) And
every plant of the field BEFORE IT WAS IN THE EARTH, and every herb of the field
BEFORE IT GREW; for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and
THERE WAS NOT A MAN TO TILL THE GROUND."
Did you see that? In Gen 1:27, God created MAN. But, in Gen 2:6, there was no
man to till the ground!! Do you know why? Because EVERYTHING in the first
chapter of Genesis, was created in spirit form. Every animal, every plant, was a
nature! We have had each one of the things that was created in Chapter 1, IN US.
They are natures. We didn't always have them in us. Because, at the first when
God created us, we were perfect. We were in His Image. All we knew was Him. We
were/are just like His Substance, Spirit, and spirit doesn't die. So regardless,
of what happened and why it happened, LATER, we remained Spirit Beings. And not
JUST spirit, but, HIS SPIRIT. There was NO-THING to create us from, EXCEPT
HIMSELF! It's sort of childish to use this alagory, but, it's like God pinched
off a piece of Himself, and we were made out of that piece of Him. Nothing has
changed since that time, when it comes to what we are. We were, we are, we will
always be a Spirit Being. LIKE BEGETS LIKE!! An apple tree brings forth apples,
an orange tree brings forth oranges.
Now, this is the short version of us being Spirit Beings. And what happened
AFTER we were created DOES NOT AND CAN NOT CHANGE THIS TRUTH!! We are Spirit
Beings. Of course, we were clothed with flesh later and got really messed up,
with our thoughts and beliefs; but we are STILL what we were created as. A
Spirit Being. You must understand this. The rest will fall in place, for the
simple reason that we KNOW WHAT we are. This is the BEGINNING of us waking up.
PS 57:8, "Awake UP, my glory, awake, psaltery and harp: I will awake early."
Some of us are waking up, earlier than others.
PS 17:15, "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shaall bee
satisified, when I awake with thy likeness.".
Eph. 5:14, "Wherefore he saith, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the
dead, and Christ shall give thee light."
You see, we are waking up from the SLEEP that Father God caused to FALL upon us.
(Gen 2: 21) Let me ask a question, that may sound silly to you. Have you read
anywhere in the bible where Adam woke up? From there on, Eve (our soul) did the
ruling). She created an illusional world that has been the same ever since. The
REAL US, the SPIRIT MAN, laid dormant while Eve had her party.
But, Adam has awakened and now he's teaching Eve who they really are. He is
wooing his wife back into his life. He is getting rid of her; he isn't killing
her, he is changing her way of thinking. AND HE IS STILL a Spirit Being!! Him
and Eve reside in this flesh body, that we have been taught is US. But, the body
is just like our homes. We live in our homes, but, our home is not us. Think on
this. Father lives in this body of ours, right? Does that mean that this body is
Him? No. It's just a dwelling place for Him. If this flesh body died tomorrow,
would Father die? No. Would the real US die? No, because the flesh body is a
dwelling place that we inhabit. If the body died tomorrow, WE, that Spirit Being
that we are created as, would return to the spirit realm, right where everyone
else, who died, is at.
Hebrew 12:1, " Wherefore seeing we also ARE COMPASSED ABOUT WITH SO GREAT A
CLOUD OF WITNESSES;..."

I'll send it out to you. Once a person returns to the spirit realm (dies) they
go right on LEARNING, the same as we who are here on earth, do. He is no
respector of persons. ALL will come to know all things.
This is how one member of the discussion group sees it.
"I'm arriving late to this discussion on "we are spirit," but I've sure enjoyed
catching up on all the comments thus far. I'd like to add my two cents and say
that, I think when we try to picture in our minds or give some kind of
definition in our minds to both soul and spirit, and whether they are male or
female, or neither, the key thing is to remember that we are in our essence
primarily what God is, and that is spirit. I am of the opinion that our earthly
exerience, which is realized in our souls and in our bodies as we live in this
world, is simply the outward experience of God's clothing Himself with humanity,
with our own individual humanity, and making humanity a habitation for Himself.
And that is what His intent has been all along, to make man in His image and
after His likeness, a new creation of Himself that will be the temple of God and
humanity together as one.
And Jesus is the perfect and primary example of this, the beginning of the
creation of God in that sense, the firstborn of many to follow. In Him God and
man have been joined as one, and as such He is the express image and likeness of
the Father. What we see in Him is the perfect mastery of the spirit of God in
Him, in bringing His soul into harmony and union with spirit, and because of
that, death could not hold his body as He rose triumphant from it's grave.
So, since He is our true life, and we have been awakened to this, our aim is to
overcome as He did, and achieve the same mastery of our spirit, as we learn to
let it shepherd our souls to attain the same heavenly heights that we know our
spirit continuously enjoys. I believe this is the truth conveyed in the picture
given to us in Rev 12 of the manchild (that spirit of the Christ within us all)
who is caught up to God and the throne, and then ministers to the woman in the
wilderness for a time.
And the eventual oneness of spirit and soul within us, that spirit of God within
us dwelling freely and unhindered as master of the house, will lead to the
quickening of our mortal bodies and fashion them like unto His own glorious
body, and thereby declaring our adoption as sons of the Father.
And it's in this way I think that "the kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven
which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was
leavened." UNQUOTE
I have some different thoughts on the teaching that we "will be" Sons of God.
Because the Word tells us that "Now are you Sons of God".
I believe that we allow the word, "manifested" throw us. You see, just because
something is not seen in the natural world, does not mean that it isn't in
being. God was the invisible God, and no one on earth had seen Him, but, that
fact did not change the fact that He was and is. There's one thing I do know for
sure. We cannot manifest something that we don't know and don't believe. The
soul has had us believing that we are terrible beings, and that we can do
nothing and was not meant to do anything. But, that's not true. Father has
finished His Work and is waiting for us to walk into our inheritance.We are as
He is. He has told us this. Man has taken Father's Word and made it so
complicated, when the greatest thing that has kept us from manifesting Father's
Truths is not believing then. He tells us that He tasted death, that we don't
have to. But, do we really believe that? Apparantly not, because folks are
still dieing. (get my study on Do We Have to See Physical Death?).
I'm going to stop here. Take what you've read and don't look at yourself, or who
you think is yourself. Meditate on this adn then, later, you'll find out why we
are in the shape we are in. But, no matter what the shape may appear to be,
right now, we are still what God created us as. He is awakening us, to be what
we were created to be, manifested for all the world to see the glorious
handywork of our loving Father. We won't disappoint Him, because His Plan is
manifesting more and more each day. We're beginning to see HIM through each
person we meet, more and more everyday. It's where we allow our focus to be that
determines what we see. Eve is on her way back home, to her husband and then all
will see.
