The Spiral Path

The unknown seems to surround us with it's frosty breath. Endless questions without answers...Where have we come from? Where are we going? Are we focused more on the destination than the journey? We can become obsessed with the end result of our travels and miss the life that is only experienced here and now. When we seem to be just going around and around with no end in sight, frustration can overwhelm us. When we stare into eternity, that frustration can become a debilitating desperation.

Freedom resides in knowing the truth. Yes, we are going around and 'round with no end in sight. But as we go around something extraordinary happens. We learn. Learning gives us a higher perspective and therefore frees us from our former limitations. As we go around, we climb a little higher. The path is not a circle...its a spiral.

Fear not the eternal path

That spirals up and around.

Although forever it will turn you

It will never, ever bring you down.

Limited minds do seek an end

A place where travels cease.

But eternal beings rest in this:

Only an endless road brings peace.

Life does not have a destination. It is a never ending process of unfolding beauty. Behold it in every movement, every sound, every feeling. Become it. It will unfold you, step by step. Go with a timeless sense of adventure. Ever looking forward, ever moving upward.
