Chapter 1

He was there before the world began. He was one with the Father. In Him was life, the light of all men, which could be found in no other. The Light that He carries shines on the dark; darkness cannot overtake it. There is life to be found in that light, for all whom will not forsake it. He brought all things to life, all that God had spoke to be; He brought them into the physical realm so they could be seen.

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came to be a witness of the light that all men should believe on. He, himself, was not that light, but he came to show who is. His speech directed you to the only one who could give life to all who are His.

Jesus, He was in this world and this world He did make, but when He came to His own, they scorned Him with their hate. To those who saw the light and did that light receive, to them He gave power because in Him, they did believe. These were those born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh; neither were they born of the will of man, but with the Father they did mesh.

The word of God was made flesh and lived her among us. We failed to recognize His glory, but now of His grace and truth we do confess. John bore witness of Him, with his voice he cried out and said, "This is the one I was speaking about; set your eyes on Him instead."

We have all received of His fullness, and Him, we did come to know. There is a continued grace from Him that never ceases to flow. No one has seen God at any time, except for the one called His son. He is in the bosom of His Father, and God is in Him; together they are the same, they are one.

The Jews sent the priests and Levites to ask John, "Who are you?" John confessed, "Im not the Christ or Elias." They responded, "Then answer, tell us who? What do you say of yourself?" They continued to ask. "We have to give an answer, so tell it to us-fast!"

John answered, "I am a voice, and in the wilderness I cry, Make straight the way of the Lord; prepare to meet the Christ!"

Those who the Pharisees sent continued to question John, "Why is it that you baptize, if you are not the one?"

John answered, "I baptize with water, but among you there stands one; one that you do not recognize. It is He who is Gods son. He is coming after me, but before me He is preferred. I am not worthy of Him, Come! See and learn."

The next day, John saw Jesus and said, "Behold…the Lamb of God! He takes away the sin of the world and makes a new path for you to trod. This is He of whom I said after me should come. The Spirit of God rest on Him. Dont follow after me; follow this one."

"It was God who told me that this would be the sign: The one, on whom you see the Spirit remaining, He is the Son, He is mine. I saw this, and now I bare record of all that God had spoke; I knew this was the one who would baptize with the Holy Ghost."

The next day, there were two other guys standing with John. John looked at Jesus and said, "Behold! He is the one Ive been speaking about." So the two followed Jesus down the road.

Jesus turned and saw them. He questioned, "What do you want from me?" They answered, "We want to know where you live." Jesus said, "Come and see."

They went and saw where He lived, and they stayed with Him that day, because inside of them grew a hunger, and the hour was getting late.

The one, his name was Andrew; he went to find his brother, Pete. He told him about Jesus and then brought him to His feet.

Jesus said, "Ah Simon, you shall be called a stone." Jesus knew before hand that this was one of His own.

The following day, Jesus went forth into Galilee. There He found Philip and said to him, "Follow me."

Philip went and found Nathaniel; he said to him, "Hey, come and see! We have found Him, the one the prophets wrote about; the one of whom Moses did speak."

Nathaniel said, "Oh, Cmon. Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" When Jesus laid His eyes on him, He knew He was another one of His.

Jesus said to Nathaniel, "Ah, an Israelite in whom there is no deceit." Nathaniel looked at Jesus and said, "How do you know me?"

Jesus replied, "Before Philip called you, I knew all about you. I saw you when you were still under the fig tree." Nathaniel was amazed and said, "Teacher, you are the King!"

"Just because I said I saw you, you now trust and believe? Hang around Nathaniel, youll see much more; youll see the heavens open with angels ascending and descending for me."

Chapter 2

There was a marriage happening in Cana of Galilee, and Jesus mother was there. They had run out of wine, and Mary came to Him with this care.

Jesus said, "Woman, why are you coming to me? My time isnt ready." Mary looked at the servants and said, "Do whatever He says, be faithful and stay steady."

They had six water pots there that were made of stone. Jesus told them to fill them with water. He then told them to take it to the governor, who when he tasted it said, "This is like no other! At the beginning of a celebration, every man always puts out the good wine. You have saved the best for this later time."

Jesus worked His first miracle here, in Cana of Galilee. His glory was revealed, and His disciples were moved to believe.

Capernum was His next stop. He was with His mother, disciples and brethren. They didnt stay there very long before He went up to Jerusalem. He went inside the temple where they were selling oxen, sheep, and doves. Jesus drove them all out and said, "This is not my Fathers love"

They replied to Him, "If youre who you say you are, then show a sign to us!" Jesus said, "Destroy this temple and in three days, I will raise it up."

"It took forty-three years to build this temple, and youre going to raise it in three days?" But Jesus spoke of His body that would be risen from the grave.

While Jesus was in Jerusalem, on the Passover Feast day, many saw His miracles and believed in His name. But Jesus did not give Himself over, no, not to any man; He knows the hearts of all and what is contained therein.

Chapter 3

There was a man joined with the Pharisees, Nicodemus was his name. He came to Jesus in the night, probably in fear of ridicule and shame. He said to Jesus, "Rabbi, from God you must have came. There is no other way you can do these miracles; you must be with Him, one and the same."

Jesus answered, "Im telling you the truth, you must be born again; otherwise you will not see the Kingdom of God, you cannot enter in."

"How can a man be born again? And better yet when he is old. To enter again into his mothers womb? To me, this must be told!"

Jesus replied, "Im telling you, you must be born of water and the Spirit. That which is flesh is flesh, and that which is Spirit is Spirit. Dont be so surprised that Ive said you must be born again, unless you are born of the Spirit, you will not understand. Just as the wind blows wherever it desires, so those born of the Spirit will also this same freedom acquire."

Nicodemus spoke again, "Wait, now how can these things be? I am still in ignorance. Please, explain more to me."

Jesus answered, "You are a master of Israel and still, you dont know these things? We speak to you of the things we know and testify of what we have seen. I have spoken to you of earthly things, and yet you believe not. What if I speak to you of heavenly things? Then you would really be on the spot."

"No one has gone up to heaven, except for Him who came from there. Just as Moses raised the serpent in the desert, so the Son of Man will not be spared. You see, God loved the world so much that He gave His only son. Whoever believes in Him shall be with Him forever, as one. This one will never die, but will have life that never ends. Christ was not sent into the world so the world would be condemned. He came to give under- standing and perception, to have you known as His friend. If you receive all that He is, you will live in that light. If you choose evil, then darkness shall be your plight. Those who live by truth will come that all may be revealed. They will stand in the light; they will bare His seal."

It was then to the Judean countryside went Jesus and His disciples. There He stayed and baptized others. This brought questions from Johns disciples. They came to John and said, "Jesus, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, He is also baptizing men and calling them to come."

John replied, "I told you myself that I am not the Christ. He is the one who came from heaven. The one who gives eternal life? I am rejoicing in Him because in Him, my joy is fulfilled. He must increase; I shall decrease. It is He who is the Fathers will. The one who comes from above is the one who is above all. He comes directly from the Father, He is the one who gives the call."

"Jesus knows the truth, He is the Father in the flesh. He speaks of those things He knows, and He gives everyone who comes to Him, His rest. Whoever believes in the Son receives everlasting life. He that does not believe shall receive the wrath of Jesus Christ."

Chapter 4

The Pharisees found out that Jesus was gaining and baptizing more people than John; Jesus, He just left Judea and to Galilee went on. He had to go through Samaria, and Sychar was on the way. Here He sat by the well and decided to rest, at this particular time of day.

A Samaritan woman came to the well, and Jesus asked her for a drink. She replied, "How is it that a Jew asks something of a Samaritan? This is something a Jew would not dare think."

Jesus answered, "If you knew the gift of God and who He is that asks, you would have asked of Him and received a drink of living water that ever lasts."

"You dont have anything to draw with, and the well is very deep; where will you get this living water that you bid me now to drink? Our Father, Jacob, gave us this well; are you saying you know better? All of his own drank from here; are you saying you are better?"

Jesus replied, "Whoever drinks from this well, he will thirst again. Whoever drinks what I give, will have living water from within."

"Sir, give me this water so I will never again thirst." Jesus answered, "Go, get your husband, and then return here, first."

 "Sir, I have no husband."

"Yes, what you speak is true. You have had five husbands; the man you are now with is not married to you."

She replied, "A prophet, I perceive? Our Fathers worshipped on this mountain, but can you make it clear to me?"

"Woman believe me, it is neither here nor there, but those who worship in spirit and truth are those who truly care. They are the kind of worshippers that the Father seeks. You see, it is not what is on the inside, but what is in the heart that speaks."

"I know the Messiah is coming, the one called the Christ; He will reveal everything that pertains to a godly life."

Jesus answered, "I, that speak to you, am He."

At that moment, His disciples returned from the city. They were surprised to see that Jesus was conversing with a woman, but no one questioned what they had seen.

His disciples said to Him, "Master, come, you must eat." Jesus replied, "To do the will of Him who sent me is what I call meat."

"Dont you say that there are four months, and then the harvest comes? Look out onto the fields, the harvest has already begun. One sows and another reaps. You have reaped what you have not worked for; others have done the hard work, and you have received the benefits of their labor."

Many Samaritans arrived and asked Jesus to stay. They believed and trusted Him because of what the woman had to say. Then after listening to Jesus, they said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of you; now that we, ourselves, have heard Him speak, we know that He is the Messiah, it is true."

Jesus stayed with them two days, then went into Galilee, although He, Himself, declared that a prophet has no honor in his own country. As Jesus entered into the town, many Galileans were pleased; they had witnessed Him in Jerusalem and saw the miracle He did at the feast.

As Jesus entered Cana, where He had turned the water into wine, a noble man came up and said, "Master, please, come and heal the dying son of mine."

Jesus said, "Only by seeing signs and wonders, will you choose to believe." The nobleman pleaded, "Sir, come and heal my child, please." "Go on your way, your son lives." Jesus replied. On the way home the man met his servants who told him, "Yes, your son is alive!"

It was about the seventh hour, the same time that Jesus did speak. They all rejoiced, and in Jesus they believed. This was the second miracle that Jesus had done. It was again in Cana of Galilee where His compassion had many hearts won.

Chapter 5

By the sheep market in Jerusalem, there was a pool where many sick folk would lie. An angel would come and stir the water, which caused healing for the blind, lame, and paralyzed. But during this stirring, only one could be cured; there was no healing for those who came in afterwards.

There was a man who had been ill for years, actually thirty-eight. He said, "Every time I try to go in, I always get there late."

Jesus said, "Get up! Take your bed and go." The man replied, "Yes sir!" Then took off down the road.

The Jews became angry because this was done on the Sabbath, "You cant carry your bed, this is a day of rest!"

The man replied, "It was Jesus, He told me to take up my bed and walk." This Jesus the Jews wanted to kill because of the words that He would talk.

"What right have you to do this?" They questioned. "This is the Sabbath day!" Jesus simply said, "This is my Fathers way."

The Jews became most angry as Jesus made Himself equal with God. Jesus said, "The way that I go is the same way my Father trods."

"As the Father raises the dead, so the Son shall also do. His judgment has been placed into my hands, know that judgment has come to you. As you honor the Father, so shall you honor the Son; all that hear and believe into my Kingdom they shall come. Truthfully, Im telling you, the time has now come, the dead that hear shall live as they heed the voice of Gods Son."

Dont wonder at my words, you are going to see the day arrive where the wicked are sent to judgment and the righteous into eternal life. By myself I cant do a thing; as I hear Him, I judge. It is a judgment that is just because it comes from the throne of love. If I testify of myself, then my testimony is not true. There is another who testifies, listen to what He says to you."

"John bore witness of the truth. He was a burning lamp that gave forth light. You delighted in him for a while, and what he spoke to you was right. I can see that my Fathers word has no life in you; you reject Him whom He sent, and you refuse to hear the truth. Look, search the Scriptures, you will find a promise of eternal life; words that testify of me, but instead of me, you choose death and strife. I have come in my Fathers name, and me, you wont receive; if a person comes in his own name, then in him you will believe. Praise from man is what you choose to receive. That which is from God, you turn away and choose to leave. Moses will accuse you, you say you trust in him? Yet you do not believe his words, you reject Gods Son and follow sin."

Chapter 6

Jesus then crossed over to the West Side of the Sea of Galilee. The land of Tiberias is where He now placed His feet. There were many that had followed Him there because of what they had seen; how he had performed miracles on those who were diseased.

Jesus went up the mountainside, and He and His disciples took a seat; it wouldnt be long before they would have to attend the Passover feast.

Jesus looked up and saw many people approaching Him. He looked at Philip and said, "Where shall we go so we can buy bread to feed all of them?"

Jesus said this to Philip that He might draw him closer to himself. Philip answered, "Not even forty dollars worth of bread would be enough to feed us and everyone else."

Andrew, Simon Peters brother, came to Jesus and said, "There is a boy here with two fish and five barley loaves of bread, but what is that among so many?" Jesus said, "Make everyone sit down." Then He continued as though it were plenty.

This was an area of a large meadow, and about five thousand men sat down. Jesus blessed the bread and had the disciples pass it all around. He did the same with the fish, and everyone ate until satisfied. He then had the disciples gather up the scrapes. They were all quite amazed when they got twelve full baskets back!

When the people realized the miracle Jesus had just performed, they were convinced that He was the one sent, and they wanted Him to adorn. But Jesus knew their hearts, He knows the ways of man. He went off alone into the mountains to continue on with His Fathers plan.

In the evening, the disciples entered a boat and headed to the port of Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. The disciples werent doing very well, but they continued rowing.

After they had gone about three to four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea. He was approaching the boat and they were terrified. Jesus called out, "Dont be afraid! Its me." When they realized it was Jesus, they reached to take His hand. The boat then stayed on a steady course and they instantly reached land.

The next day, the crowd who had been with them on the day before, realize there had been only one boat, and the disciples had used it to cross over to the other shore. They knew Jesus wasnt with them and the disciples had gone off on their own way. The only other boats were those which had come from Tiberias, and they were all parked in place. Once they came to the conclusion that Jesus was also gone, they too crossed over to the other side. They went into Capernum in hopes that Jesus they would find. They found Him, right where they suspected, on the other side of the sea. They asked Him, "Rabbi, how is it that here you came to be?"

Jesus answered, "You search for me, but it isnt because of the miracles revealed; it was for the reason that you ate bread and were filled. Dont follow after worldly lusts that bring only momentary satisfaction. Look for that meat which lasts for all eternity; that which the Son shall give you. The Father has sealed it up in me."

They questioned, "To do the Fathers work, what is it that we must do?" Jesus replied, "The work of the Father is that you believe on the one He has sent to you."

Well, what miracle will you perform so we can see and believe? Our Forefathers ate manna in the desert, it is written: He gave them bread to eat.

Jesus answered, "Truthfully Im telling you, Moses did not give you heavenly bread. My Father gives that bread to you. It is He, the one who has come down form heaven and gives His life for you."

"Well give us that bread now, the bread youre talking about. Then we will believe and will have no more reason to doubt."

Jesus said, "I am the bread of life, in whom you will never hunger again. Whoever believes in me will find that even their thirst has come to an end. You have already seen me and have chosen not to believe. The ones the Father gives me will believe and see. Those who come to me, I will never turn them away. I came down from heaven not to do my own will, but to fulfill all the Father has to say."

"The will of the Father, who sent me, is that I not lose even one of those that He has given; I shall raise them up on the last day, together with me, completely forgiven. The will of the Father, who sent me, is that everyone who sees the Son and believes everlasting life is what he shall receive. Then risen on the last day, together with me."

The Jews began to murmur because Jesus said He was the bread; the one who came down from heaven. They were not pleased with the words that they were being fed. They stood there in total disbelief, "Isnt this Jesus, whose mother and father we know? Yet, He says that He came down from heaven. What is this wind He blows?"

Jesus spoke, "Dont murmur among yourselves. Realize that no one can believe; unless my Father draws him, that one cannot come to me. These will be those who sought me, they know my fathers name; they are the ones drawn to me, the ones for whom I came. It is written in the prophets, pay attention to the words they say, All shall be taught of God, and those who hear and learn will come my way."

"No one has seen the Father, except the one who comes from Him. This one truly knows the Father and is contained in Him. In all honesty, Im telling you, whoever believes will have no sin; this one will overflow with life that comes forth from within. I am the bread of life, and from heaven I came down. If you eat this bread, then you will always be around. Your Fathers ate manna in the desert, but you see they are all dead. You will live forever, if you partake of the heavenly bread."

"Those who partake of Christ shall not partake of Gods wrath; in you, my glory shall be revealed and forever your life will last. The bread that I give you is me in the flesh; it is what I five for all of your lives that you may eat of it and be blessed."

The Jews became offended and confused as they spoke among themselves. They asked Jesus, "How can we eat your flesh?" Jesus answered, "If you dont, then you wont be getting blessed." Unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man, you will not live; eternal life is something you will never understand. If you do partake of the flesh and blood of Gods Son, then you will receive eternal life and together we will be as one. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, and you ancestors died. Whoever eats the bread that God has given will receive, not death, but life."

Jesus spoke these words in the synagogue at Capernum. Many of His disciples found this hard to swallow and could no longer believe in Him. Jesus knew within Himself that His disciples were murmuring. He asked them, "Do my words offend you and cause stumbling? What if you see the Son of Man risen back to where He was before? What kind of reaction would that bring? It is the Spirit who is the life giver; your flesh will profit you nothing. Many of you fail to believe, you fail to trust or have any faith." Jesus knew those who would not believe or see Him face to face. "I have already spoken and told you that no one can believe, unless the Father draws one, he does not have that ability."

Now many of Jesus disciples did turn from Him and walk away. They became uncomfortable with His words and could not comprehend what He had to say.

Jesus then looked at the twelve He had chosen, and He gave them a choice, "Will you also follow the way of temptation, or will you follow my voice?"

Simon, Peter spoke up and said, "Lord, where shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, without you were all dead."

Jesus spoke again, and this He did tell, "I have chosen you twelve, but one of you is a devil, chosen to live your life in hell."

Judas was the one of whom Jesus now did speak. He had given himself over to Satan and was now walking in hypocrisy and deceit.

Chapter 7

The Jews now sought to Kill Jesus, so from them He walked away. It was not His time to leave this earth, not on this day.

The Jewish feast of Tabernacles was now drawing near; Jesus brothers said to Him, "Go to the feast, you cant be known here." His brothers were also unable to comprehend; they just didnt understand…Jesus stood for much more than being accepted by man.

Jesus answered, "My time hasnt come yet, it is not yet my opportunity. My moments here are precious and each has a reason for being. Go up to the feast," He said, "go and have your fun. I wont go with you, my time has not yet come."

Jesus then went in secret, not with those of insincerity. Much murmuring was going on there by those who chose not to believe. The people feared the Jews, so they chose not to speak openly. The Jews were looking to accuse Jesus because through them, He could see.

When the feast was half over, Jesus went to the temple to teach. This totally confounded the Jews, "Where did He learn to teach?"

Jesus spoke, "This is not my teaching, this is not of my own. What I speak to you is what my Father, to me, as shown. If any man desires to do my Fathers will, he will have the understanding that my father and I are sealed. One who speaks for himself seeks glory of his own, but he who glorifies the Father shall never stand alone."

"Moses gave you the law, of which none of you obey. So why do you seek to kill me for the works of God done on the Sabbath day? Isnt it true that to keep the Law of Moses, you circumcise on the Sabbath day? Watch your words; count the cost of what you say."

Some of the men spoke up, "Isnt this the one who they have been seeking to slay? Yet, He talks so openly, and not one hand on Him do they lay. Can it be that they know that He truly is the Christ?" "NO! They cried out, "Its not Him, we know about His life."

Jesus then spoke loud, so every could hear, "Do you really know where I am from? Do you know who sent me here? I know the one who sent me, I was sent by Him." These words made the Jews angry so they tried to take Him out again. But Jesus, He was protected; the Father had a plan. Until His time had come they could not, on Him, lay one hand.

Many were there who believed and said, "Will Christ do more than He? As we hear and watch this man, it is the Christ that we now see."

The Pharisees heard the people murmur these things concerning Christ; they were pricked to their hearts and said, "We must now take His life."

Jesus spoke again, "I am with you for a short time, and then to my Father is where I shall leave. You will look, but wont find me because you cannot come with me."

He spoke this to the Pharisees because they did not believe; they rejected the Messiah, so He was out of their reach.

The Jews questioned, "Where is it that He shall go? What is He speaking? Why is it that we dont know?"

On the last day of the feat, Jesus stood up and cried, "Come to me and drink, then out of you will come life." He spoke this of His Spirit that they would receive. Only those who believed in Him would get this when He leaves.

Many of the people then said, This is the prophet, this is He!" Others replied, "Shall Christ come out of Galilee? Didnt the scriptures say that He would come from Davids seed?" They became divided in their opinion of who this man could be. Some had been sent to take Him, but on Him, they could not lay a hand. They were restrained by an unseen power, which they could not understand.

The soldiers then returned to the Pharisees and the High Priests. They were asked, "Why have you not taken Him?" They answered, "Sir, there is something in the words He speaks."

"Are you also blind? Are you also led astray? What do you people know? Youre all cursed anyway."

Nicodemus spoke up, the one who had come to Jesus in the night, "He hasnt had a trial yet, so how can you judge Him right?"

"Are you also from Galilee? Look and see, no prophet comes from there." They then taunted Nicodemus because they did not want truth for Jesus; they didnt want anyone to care. They quickly broke up the meeting and all disappeared. Nicodemus had spoken the truth, and the truth hurt their ears.

Chapter 8

Jesus then went to the Mount of Olives; this is where He got His rest. He stayed in the Fathers presence and came back at His best. He went into the temple, and He again began to teach. He taught with much authority, and many hearts were reached.

Those who hated Jesus brought a woman before Him and said, "She was caught in adultery, and the Law says we should stone her to death. What shall we do with her Jesus? What do you have to say?" Jesus answered, "He who is without sin, throw the first stone her way." My they were convicted, they suddenly saw inside themselves. They all turned and walked away. Jesus was left with her, and there was no one else.

"Where are they, your accusers?" Jesus asked of her. "Has no one condemned you?" She answered, "No one, Sir."

"Neither do I condemn you. Go, continue on your way, but stay away from sin, I caution you this day."

Jesus then looked to the crowd and said, "My light will give you life. The one who follows after me will never walk in the blind of the night.

The Pharisees came again and spoke, "You are testifying of yourself, and to us, that is a joke."

Jesus answered, "If I speak on my own behalf, know that it is right and true. I do know where I come from and where I am going to. You set yourselves up to judge according to what you see; you condemn by human standards, that is not to be. I do not set myself up to judge or to condemn. I have come to receive those who do not compromise or bend. Yet, even if I do judge, my judgment shall be right; I do not judge alone, but through my Fathers sight. In your own law it is evident about the testimony of two, I do not stand alone, what my Father speaks is true."

"Where is He, your Father? Let us hear Him speak." Although they knew He spoke of God, they chose to not believe.

Jesus said, "You dont know my Father, just as you dont know me. If you knew who I was, then my Father you would see. I am going away, and you will look for me, but will not find; you have chosen a life of sin, and in your sin you shall die."

Jesus spoke these things in the treasury of the temple court that day. Although they looked to arrest Him, no one hand on Him did they lay.

"You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, and this world has no love. Unbelief is sin against the remedy; you dont have any faith, so you cannot be free. You will die in your sin, because you refuse to believe; I truly am the Messiah, and without faith, you cannot receive."

"When you have lifted up the Son, then you will understand; the one you had been waiting or truly was this man. Just as my Father has taught me, so do I also teach you. He has sent me, and He is with me; it is His will that I do."

As Jesus spoke these words, there were many that believed. "If you continue in my word, you will know truth, and knowing truth will set you free."

Some of them replied, "We are Abrahams seed. We have never be in bondage to any man, what do you mean by saying, well be free?

"Im telling you the truth, if you live in sin, you definitely are not free; you are in bondage, restrained deep within. I know that you are Abrahams seed, but my word has no place in you. You seek to kill me because you do not seek for truth. You say you belong to Abraham, yet it is the devil that you serve; there is no truth in him, neither do you receive my words. Why dont you give me credit for the words I speak? Its because God is not your Father, so you worship at Satans feet."

"Oh, youre just a Samaritan and a devil is what you have!" Jesus replied, "You are dishonoring me, and it is God who is my dad."

"If you keep my sayings, you shall not see death." "Well, now we know that you have a devil because Abraham and the prophets are all dead."

Jesus replied, "If I said I didnt know my Father, then a liar I would be. I do know Him, and I keep His word; my Father glorifies me. Abraham was elated with the hope of seeing my day. He rejoiced and was delighted that I would come his way."

The Jews became furious, "What are these words you speak? Youre not even fifty and you say that Abraham you have seen?"

Jesus answered, "Oh, but Im telling you, before Abraham was, I am." They then decided to stone Him; they were abhorred by this man.

Although they tried so hard, this man to stone, Jesus walked right through the middle of them, and they left Him alone. Jesus was protected because it was not yet time for Him: not yet time to surrender His life for all born into sin.

Chapter 9

As Jesus walked along His way, He saw a man who was born blind. His disciples asked Him, "What sin was done that he would undergo a suffering of this kind?"

Jesus said, "Watch how you judge, his blindness was not from sin. It is so the workings of God would be shown through him. I came to do my Fathers work while it is still day. The time is coming when here, I can no longer stay. I have come into this world that I might give it light. Not only to those who are physically blind, but others also must receive their sight."

With these words, Jesus spit on the ground and made some clay. He placed it on the blind mans eyes and said, "Go wash." The blind man could see that very day.

His neighbors came and said, "Hey, wasnt he born blind? This cant be who we think." "Yes, it is me!" The man replied.

"How were your eyes opened?" His neighbors asked

"It was Jesus, He made some clay. He placed it on my eyes and said, Go wash and I could see when I obeyed."

"Where is Jesus now?" They asked. He answered, "I dont know."

Then they brought him to the Pharisees, so this miracle could be shown.

It was on the Sabbath, that Jesus made the clay; they led him to the Pharisees just to see what they would have to say.

The Pharisees began to interrogate the man who was born blind. They refused to believe it was he and went looking for his parents, to find. "If this is your son, who was born blind, tell us…how is it that he now sees?" His parents answered, "Why dont you ask him, he has a tongue to speak."

His parents were afraid to answer the Pharisees they knew that any one who believes in Jesus would loose their synagogue seat.

The Pharisees called Jesus a sinner and said, "it is God that you must praise. They refused to accept Jesus as the one they did so long await.

Again they spoke to the one who had been born blind, "Now tell us, were you born blind, and what did Jesus do? Tell us exactly how your eyesight was returned to you."

"I told you already, I was blind and now I see. If I tell you once again, will that convince you? Then will you believe?"

By this reply the Pharisees were angered, "It is to Moses we belong! We know God spoke to him, as for this Jesus, He is wrong!"

The blind man spoke, "Hmm...How it amazes me that such a miraculous work was done, yet you can say you dont know Him and actually deny Him to be Gods Son? Now I know that God doesnt hear sinners, but those that do His will and worship Him. Never before has sight been restored and yet you choose to ridicule Him."

"How dare you try and teach us! You, yourself born in sin!" Then they threw him out, but Jesus went and found him.

"Do you believe on the Son of God?" Jesus asked him. "Who is He that I might believe?" Jesus answered, "You have seen and talked with Him; the Messiah, I am He."

The man believed and worshiped Him, as Jesus continued to speak, "I came to bring judgment on this world, those who have been blind shall now see."

The Pharisees heard Jesus and said, "Are you saying that we are also blind?" Jesus answered, "Because you deny your blindness, the truth you shall not find. You dont see that what you glory in has become your ruin and shame; since you refuse the true leader, your sin continues to remain.

Chapter 10

"Im telling you, the one who does not enter through the door of the sheepfold…but comes in another way, this one is a thief and a robber; one who has come to lead them astray. The one, who comes to the gatekeeper and walks through the door, this one is called Shepherd, and His love on them does pour. He calls His sheep, and they hear their name; His voice they recognize. To truth and love, they will respond; they will not heed to enemy lies."

As Jesus spoke these words, many did not understand, so Jesus took the time to speak to them again.

"Truthfully, Im telling you, I am the door. All who came before me, my true sheep did ignore. Through me they have a covenant, and I, them will protect. Together we have fellowship, true liberty, and respect. The thief, the reason that he comes, is to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come to bring you life and restore your joy. I am the good shepherd, who gives His life for you; the one called the wolf comes to scatter you through and through. The wolf is one who doesnt care, hell make sure you do not learn. Hell do all to catch you in a noose, then hell eave you there to burn."

"I know those who are mine, and my voice they subtly hear. I contin-- ually draw them with my love, and through knowledge they draw near. As the Father knows and loves me, because I am His son, so do I know those who are mine. I lay my life down for each one."

"There are many others that will also hear and come. I have given my life for all of you, so we would be made as one. My Father loves me greatly because I chose to die for you. No one can take my life from me, for this, I, myself have the power to do. Not only do I have the power to lay down my life for you, I also have the power to take it up again. This that I do, I do for you."

The Jews then became divided, as He spoke these things, "Why do you listen to him? He has a demon! He is insane!"

Others stood for Jesus, "How can He be possessed? He has opened the eyes of the blind, and to the weary He gives strength and rest."

Later there was a Feast of Dedication that took place, at Jerusalem. Jesus was walking on Solomons porch, when the Jews surrounded Him, "How long is it that you will keep us in doubt? If you are truly the Christ, then tell us plainly, speak it out!"

Jesus spoke, "I told you, and you still dont believe. The works you see done in my Fathers name; these bare witnesses of me. You are not my sheep because you dont believe. Those who belong hear my voice; these are the ones who follow me. None of my sheep shall perish, not one shall be taken from my hand. I am greater than death and hell, and for my sheep, I stand."

Again they chose to stone Jesus because they believed Him, not. They claimed Him to be just a man, and the fury within them burned hot. Even thought Jesus did many good works, they chose not to look at these things; with hardened hearts, they despised Him and wanted Him death, to bring.

They claimed He made Himself God. Jesus turned to them and said, "Doesnt the scripture also call you Gods? Yet, you insist on seeing me dead. My Father, God, has sent me, and Yes, I am His Son. Can you not see by my works that my Father and I are one?"

Their anger then grew fiercer, and they tried to take Him again, but as though He was unseen, He escaped out of their hand.

Jesus then went to Jordan where John first baptized; many came to Him there and gave, to Him, their lives.

Chapter 11

There was a man called Lazarus, who had become ill. Mary and Martha went to Jesus and said, "Come and heal him if you will."

When Jesus heard the news He said, "This will not end in death. This will bring glory to your Father, then many will be blessed."

Although they came to Him, He still waited two more days. Though He cared much for Him, He still adhered to the Fathers way.

He then said to His disciples, "To Judea we must go." They answered, "They are trying to stone you there, we say that is a no!"

"Arent there twelve hours that we have in the day? Walk in the light and you wont stumble. Hear the words I say. If you walk in the night you will surely stumble, but my Spirit is the light in which you will overcome all trouble."

He spoke to them again and said, "Our friend, Lazarus, is at rest." They didnt understand so He said, "Lazarus is dead. And for your sake, Im glad I wasnt there. It will help you believe and you will understand my care."

Thomas spoke up, "Well go along; well die with him." Thomas faith was strong.

When they arrived, Lazarus had already been dead four days. Jesus wasnt worried, He knew Hed raise him up anyway. Martha went to Jesus and said, "Master where have you been? If you had been here sooner, death would not have come to him."

Jesus answered Martha, "Your brother will rise to life again. I am the resurrection and the life and to raise him up, I can. Whoever continues to see, depends on and believes in me, will never actually die; do you believe?"

"Yes, Lord. I believe that you are the anointed one. You are the one of whom it has been written. The world has waited for you to come."

Martha then went back to Mary and said, "Jesus calls for you." Mary quickly went to see Him and questioned, "Jesus, where were you!?"

When Jesus saw her sobbing, He sighed, deeply disturbed. He asked, "Where have you laid him?" They did not understand what they heard.

Filled with compassion, Jesus also cried. Some of the people were saying, "He healed the blind, so why did Lazarus have to die?" They didnt trust in Christ; they just did not believe. They questioned His miracles just because He grieved.

Jesus sighing repeatedly arrived near the tomb. A bolder lay in front of it and He said, "The stone must be removed!"

Martha quickly replied, "But Lord by now he surely smells." Jesus said, "Dont you remember my promise? Trust me, all is well."

They rolled away the stone and Jesus looked to the sky, "Father, Thank you that you always hear me; I speak for the benefit of their eyes. So they may believe that I have come from you, for those standing here, I speak these words to you."

After He had finished, He spoke with a loud voice, "Lazarus come forth!" Lazarus had no choice. Out he came from the tomb. He was wrapped in linen and his face was bound in a napkin. Jesus spoke and said, "Remove these things from him."

Many Jews then turned and said, "Surely this is the one! Yes, this man called Jesus truly is Gods Son!"

Others were very angry and reported it to the Pharisees, "Something must be done before they all in Him, believe."

Then Caiphas, the High Priest, he did prophesy, "For this nation, let this one man die." This you see was a word that had come from heaven. Caiphas, himself, wasnt moved, he didnt even know what he was saying.

From that day on, they took counsel together; they conspired Jesus death thinking theyd be through with Him forever.

Jesus removed Himself and no longer walked openly. This was not out of fear; with Him there is just victory.

The Passover was now at hand and many went to Jerusalem. They went to purify themselves and also to look for Him. The chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, "If anyone saw Jesus, they were to take this man."

Chapter 12

Six days before the Passover, Jesus went to Bethany (this is where He raised Lazarus from the dead). He fellowshipped with those there and had some-thing to eat. Mary took some ointment and anointed Jesus feet. She wiped them with her hair, and the smell was very sweet.

One of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, said they were wasting the oil and began to have a fit. He spoke as though his concern were to sell and give it to the poor, the real truth was that he was a thief, and his pocket is where he wanted it stored.

Jesus said, "Leave her alone, she has saved this for today. This is in preparation for my burial, the poor will be with you always.

Many of the people heard that Jesus was in Bethany; some came for confirmation, others came out of curiosity.

The next day, there was a crowd who had come to the feast. They took branches of palm trees and went to meet their King. They cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is our King! He comes in the name of the Lord!" Oh how they did sing.

Jesus found a donkey and rode into Jerusalem, Fear not, your King is coming just as it had been written of Him

All of these things Jesus disciples did not understand, but after He was glorified, they saw it written in Gods plan. Many had come because they had heard of Lazarus, they wanted to see the man who had raised him from the dead.

The Pharisees were angry and saw that nothing they did prevailed. No matter how hard they tried, every effort of theirs filed.

Jesus spoke, "The time, it has now come. Now will be the glorification of Gods Holy Son. Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it shall be alone; but through death many shall arise and be made as pure gold. He who loves his life and does not follow me, he will loose his life, he does not see. He who hates his life and gives it up for mine, this one will have eternal life, he will never die. The one, who serves and follows me, my Father will honor him. My servant will always be with me no matter where I am. My soul is very heavy, but for the purpose of this hour is why I came. Shall I say, Father, save me? No, rather, Father, glorify your name!"

A vice then came from heaven, "I have and I will yet more." The crowd thought it was a thunderclap. Jesus said, "This was not for my sake, but yours. Judgment of this world is now coming; sentence is being passed. The prince of this world now driven out, his authority no longer to last."

Then Jesus spoke and indicated the way that He would die, "When I am lifted up from this earth, all people will be drawn on high."

The crowd was confused and said, "This is not what weve been taught. The laws say Christ will remain forever; who is this Son of man weve sought?

Chapter 13

Before the Passover feast began, Jesus knew His time had come; time to leave and return to His Father. Time to leave behind those He loved. So it was during suppertime that Satan entered Judass heart. The betrayal was now at hand; the crucifixion of Jesus was now to start.

Jesus knew that all things had been placed into His hands, so He began to wash His disciples' feet; He became a servant to each man.

Simon Peter said, "No way, Lord, you shall not wash my feet." Jesus said, "If you deny me this, you shall not be one with me."

"Well then, not only my feet, but wash my hands and head as well." Jesus replied, "That isnt necessary, but listen to all this tells. Those who have bathed dont need to be washed again; I have cleansed you with my blood, but you must keep your soul from sin."

After Jesus had washed their feet and put on His garment again, He went to them and asked, "Do you understand? You call me Master and Lord, and Ive washed your feet, each one. I have been your example, now you must carry on. The servant is not greater than his Lord. What I have done, you must also do; and much that I suffer, you will suffer too. Keep these things in your heart, then you will understand: when the trials come, youll walk in peace, unfolding my plan.

Im not speaking to all of you, only to those I have chosen; for there is one who eats with me, who has committed treason. Im telling you this now, so youll believe when you see this taking place…. I truly am the Christ, who came to save the human race. In all assurance, Im telling you, whoever welcomes you, welcomes me; whoever takes me into His heart, takes also the Father who sent me."

After Jesus spoke these things, He became deeply disturbed, He knew what was to come, and in his spirit He groaned and hurt.

"In all truth, Im telling you, one of you will turn on me today." His disciples all looked at each other and didnt know what to say.

Simon Peter motioned to the one Christ delighted in, "Auk Him who He is speaking of. Who would do this to Him?"

John leaned on Jesus and whispered in His ear, "Who is it Lord?" He asked. Jesus spoke so they all could hear, "The one, who I give the morsel to, after its been dipped." He then handed it to Judas, who was now ready to slit. "What you must do, do quickly." Jesus said to him. Satan had now taken Judas over, and Jesus had no fear of him. Jesus was ready to accomplish the reason why He came; He could see the outcome of His taking all the blame.

"Now the Son of Man shall be glorified, He has achieved honor and exaltation. God shall now be glorified through Him, not delaying His position. Little children, in a little while, I will be gone. You will look for me, but where I go, you cannot come. Im giving you a new commandment, To love one another. If you love as I have loved, the world will know you as my brothers."

Simon, Peter spoke up and said, "Lord, where is it that you go?" He answered, "You cannot follow me now, but soon you shall, you will know."

Simon replied, "Lord, why cant I come too? I will do anything, even lay my life down for you!"

Jesus said, "Will you truly… come with me alone? Im telling you, this night, Simon, I will be the one that you disown. Before the rooster crows, you will me, deny; not only once, but three times, you will, me, despise.

Chpater14

"Dont let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have trusted God, now listen to what I say. In my Fathers house there are many places to live. Im going to prepare a place for you, because He has much to give. If I go and make a place ready just for you, I will then come back again and give that place to you. The way to get there, that you may be where I am. Is a way all ready known to you, a way that never ends."

Thomas spoke, "But Lord, what is this you say? We dont even know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"

Jesus said, "I am the way; I am truth and I am life. No one can come to the Father, unless he comes through Christ. If you had learned to recognize who it is that I am, then you would also know my Father, from now on you will know Him."

Philip said, "Lord, show us, cause us to see the Father. Then we will be satisfied and will need proof of no other."

" Have I been with you for so long, Philip, and still…you do not comprehend? Seeing me is seeing the Father; hear me and understand. I am in the Father, and the Father is in me. All that I am telling you is done in His authority. If you cant believe who it is that I am, then look at the works I do; the miracle done in my Fathers name…these should convince you. Most positively, Im telling you, whoever truly believes in me, this one will do the same works I do, even greater works than these. I am going to the Father, so use my name for whatever you ask. And so the Father will be glorified, it will be a completed task. Yes, I will do it for you, then the Father will be known. All of His children will come to Him; He desires to bless His own. If you really love me, listen to what I speak. If you will obey, then your directions will come from me."

"I will ask the Father and His Spirit, He will send. Then in truth you will always be guided; His Spirit is truly your only friend. He will be your comforter, your helper; He will stand in your behalf. He will stay with you forever, with a love that no one can surpass. His Spirit which is truth, the one the world cannot receive, (they do not recognize Him) He will be with you constantly.

"I wont leave you helpless, I am coming back. The world wont see me, but your eyes will be in tact. Now, because I live, my life will be yours; you will understand that we are one, you will understand your source."

"The one who listens to my words and does not let anything hinder him, he is the one who truly loves me, and I will show myself to him. Yes, I will reveal myself, I will be clearly seen by you. You will no longer walk in question, but will have a new measure of rule."

Then Judas (not Iscariot) replied, "Lord how can it be that you will be know to us, but the world will not see?"

Jesus answered, "If a man truly loves me and makes my words his own, obedience will be his fruit, and we will make him our home. Anyone who doesnt love me, who pays no attention to what I teach, this one is not mine; my ways are out of his reach. Those who dont receive my words, are those who reject me. They dont believe in my Father, Hes the one who gave these words to me. All the things Ive said to you, while I am here, the comforter will bring them back to you, and you will lose all fear."

"My peace is what Im leaving with you, a peace that no one else can give. Dont be afraid or troubled because in my grace is where you shall live. You heard me say that Im going away, well…know that I am also coming back. Im going to my Father, and for this you should be glad. I have told you all of this, before it has taken place; this way you will believe in me and understand faith. I wont be talking with you much more, because a conflict with darkness now comes. Know that Satan has already lost, and what I do now is because of the Fathers love. I only do those things, which He instructs, me to; I act in full agreement with all that He says to do. Lets go."

Chapter 15

"I am the vine, you are the branch. To bear proper fruit, you must be lanced. Those branches that are dry, they dont bear any fruit; they are cut off and destroyed because they reject real truth. You have to enter in to all that, of which I am, let my heart be yours, then the blossoms will begin. Whoever chooses not to obey, does not live in me; his way becomes dim sighted, removed from being complete. If you take up life with me and become my word, ask whatever you will, and you shall always be heard. Your life shall bring forth joy; yes, adoration for the Father. The outcome of your labor shall prove that you are my brother. As the Father loves me, so do I love you; you must watch my ways and continue in al that I do. As you obey my words, in my love you shall abide; even as I obey my Father and together as one we stride."

"I have spoken to you, to bring you joy within. So we would remain as one, rejoicing in true wisdom. These are the words that I speak to you, Love one another. The same love that I have shown to you, you must show it to each other. There is no greater love than a love that will lay itself down; one who gives up his life so another can be found. I dont call you servants; I call you my friends. I have told you all of these things so you would repeat them again. I have chosen and ordained you, now your fruit can remain. You will receive that which you ask, as you ask in my name."

"You must love one another, this thing I do command. You will find the world will hate you. It is because you are not of this land. Remember what I said, the servant is not above his Lord. What has been done to me shall also follow you in accord. These things shall happen because they dont know who I am. And, because I have revealed myself, there is no covering for their sin. The one, who hates me, hates my Father too. They have rejected my words; they have rejected truth. All of this has come to pass so the scripture would be fulfilled: They hated me without purpose, and my blood they spilled. There will be the comforter, who I will send to you; He comes forth from the Father and will reveal, to you, all the truth. You will be my witnesses because you have been with me. You shall do all that I have done and all the world shall see.".

Chapter 16

"I have told you all of these things, so you wont be taken by surprise. Youll know when these things are happening and where to focus your eyes. They will think they are pleasing God, when they put you out. No matter what you go through, dont allow yourself to doubt. Those who truly serve me, know this…persecution will come. They will think that by rejecting you, they are pleasing the Holy One. These things theyll do, because they dont know me; neither do they know my Father, but the trial will set you free."

"Remember, I was before you, and I have undergone this first. I will instruct and guide you, and I will give water for your thirst. I must now go to my Father and sorrow fills your heart. But, so the comforter can come is why I must depart. He will reprove the world, and He will do it all through you. Keep your faith in me, and make sure your heart stays true. I have many things to say to you, but for now…you wouldnt under- stand. Just follow the guidance of my Spirit and you will recognize the unfolding plan. All that He says to you has come from heaven above, so be sure to take each step, and take it in His love. Through Him, I shall be glorified because of what He will reveal to you. All the Father has given me, you are the ones that I now give it to. In a little while, you wont see me anymore; then again, in a little while you will be the ones that I stand before."

"What is this He is saying?" His disciples could not comprehend, "In a little while we will not see Him, but then we will see Him again?" Because of their sorrow, these things they could not perceive "Why is Jesus saying this? Why must Jesus leave?"

Jesus knew they wanted to ask Him, and He continued on with these words, "Filled with sorrow, you shall weep; then you will know a joy unheard. Just as a woman about to give birth feels only pain, but after the child has come forth, there is a joy that can, in no other way, be obtained. For now, you feel much sorrow, and you do not understand, but there will be joy unspeakable, when I return again. Know that Im leaving you with the power of my name. Use it when you ask of the Father, and what you ask, you shall gain. I have told you things in parables, things hard for you to grasp. But soon you shall hear plainly and have it tightly in your clasp. Now, when you come to the Father, it is my name that you must use. Because you are loved so dearly, my name has been given to you. When you come before Him, it is I that He sees, so what He does for you, He is doing for me. Know that the Father loves you, because you have accepted and love me, and the things youve seen and heard, you have chosen to believe. I came forth out of my Father, I came to reveal Him to you. The place where I am now going, is the place that you are now coming in to."

His disciples began to understand the words He now did speak, "We believe you know all things, and you came from the God that we seek."

Jesus then questioned them. "Do you now truly believe? Many of you shall scatter, when my time has come to leave. Each will go his own way, but I shall not be left alone. The Father He is with me, as He awaits my return home. Ive spoken all these words to you, so in my peace you will be able to remain. There will be much tribulation, but be of good cheer! I overcame."

Chapter 17

After Jesus spoke these words, He lifted up His eyes. He began to speak to the Father; to Him these words did rise, "Father, now is the time, yes, the hour has now come. That you may now be glorified, glorify your Son. You have given me authority over everyone here on this earth. I now give them eternal life; I give them this new birth. The way to have eternal life is by knowing you, the only one true God and the one you sent to bring them to you. I brought you glory on this earth by obeying your every command. Now Father, as I stand before you, reveal your glory to each man. I have told them all about you, and they have always been yours. You gave them to me, and I gave them your word. Now they know that all I have, you have given me. I have passed everything to them, and they believe with all sincerity. My cry to you is not for the world, but for those youve given me. They have done me honor, and in them, my glory is achieved. "

"Father, keep them in your care; all those you have given me. So they will be with us as one united, not one soul missing. I have kept them safe within your family, and not one of them has perished, except for him who it was foreseen. Now I am coming to you, Father, and I have shared much with these, so their joy will be full, and they will know your peace. Ive given them your commands, and yes, the world hates them; just as it hates me, because we reveal their sin. I ask that you not take them out, but keep them safe from Satans power. As for their holiness and purity, that is why I came to this final hour. As you have sent me here, so do I send them out. Ive given myself to meet their need, so they would know truth without a doubt."

"Im praying not just for these alone, but also for those who will hear; those who will receive what they speak and to my heart draw near. So everyone can be made one, as you and I are one; they as one together with us, so the world will see and believe your love. I gave them the glory and honor that you gave me. Now they can be one as you and I, fit together perfectly. Those the world may know, recognize and see, that you love them, just as you love me."

"Father, my desire is that they be where I am. That they would see the glory you gave me, before the world began. O righteous, Holy Father, you are just in all that you do, I have known you continually and these understand and know that its true. I made you known to them, I revealed your very self. I will continue on with this, that they would care for you and nothing else.

Chapter 18

Jesus finished praying, then He and His disciples left. He now entered into the garden, where would come His biggest test. Judas, who betrayed Him, knew of this very place, because Jesus often came here to meet God, face to face.

Judas had made the decision to turn Jesus in, so he got those that desired His death and showed this place to them. They came into the garden with weapons in hand. They came with hatred, desiring to remove Jesus from this land.

Jesus who knew all things became available to them, "Who is it that you search for, it may be that I am Him?"

"Jesus is who we want, Jesus the Nazarene." Judas just stood there with them, as though he were unseen.

Jesus then replied with calmness and much peace, "Im the one you search for, I am Jesus, I am He."

As Jesus spoke these words, they fell backwards to the ground; He could have spoken them to hell, but He left them to hang around. He showed patience and forbearance, even with the worst of me. In love He struck them down that they might turn to Him.

Jesus spoke again, with much authority, "Who is that you seek?" He knew that later this would return to their memory.

"Jesus." They replied. He spoke, "I am He. If Im the one you search for, then let these others be." Jesus said these words that scripture would be done, Of those you have given me, I have not lost one.

Peter then drew his sword and took off the ear of Malchus. Jesus said, "Put away your sword, Peter, that spirit is not in us. The cup my Father has given me, I chose that cup to drink. Peter, put away your sword, put it back into your sheath."

The officers and soldiers then took Jesus, and Him, they bound. They led Him to Annas, in full hope that guilt, in Him, would be found.

Now Caiphas, He was the High Priest, the one who had given counsel to the Jews. He said that it was right for Jesus to die, so others would be loosed.

Peter and another disciple followed Jesus to the court. This other disciple knew the High Priest and for him they opened the door. Peter stood outside as the other disciple talked to the maid. She then let Peter in, but recognized his face, "Youre one of His disciples!" The woman proclaimed. Peter said, "I am not! I dont even know His name!"

The servants and the guard were standing by the fire, Peter stood there with them so information, he could acquire.

The High Priest then questioned Jesus about His followers and teaching. Jesus replied, "I spoke out in the open and did not thing secretly. Why is it that you are asking this of me? As those who heard, I spoke so all could hear and see."

As Jesus spoke these words, there was an attendant standing by, he struck Jesus because of His answers. Jesus said, "Have I spoken a Lie? If I have said something evil, then tell me what you heard. Tell me, why do you strike me for the truth you hear in my words?"

Jesus was then sent to Caiphas, the High Priest. Pete was still outside warming himself, denying Jesus through his teeth.

Another spoke to Peter and said, "You were there, this I know." Peter denied Christ for the third time, and immediately a rooster crowed.

Jesus was brought to the judgment hall. It was quite early in the day. Most people were asleep, and no one could defend Him that way.

The Chief Priest and the elders would not enter the Judgment Hall…to be present with a Gentile? Why, for them, this would be a great fall. Pilate went to them and said, "What accusation do you bring? As I speak with this man, I find guilt in not one thing."

They answered, "If He had done no wrong, we would not have brought Him here." "Well then, punish Him yourselves!" Pilate spoke without fear.

The Jews then answered, "That is not within our law. Weve brought Him here to you so His death sentence could be called."

This all went in line of what was to be fulfilled. The crucifixion of Jesus, yes, for us He gave up His human will.

Pilate questioned Jesus, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus asked, "Are you asking this of yourself, or have others spoken this to you?"

Pilate answered, "Do I look like a Jew? Your own nation brought you to me. What is it that youve done? Are you truly a King?"

"My Kingdom is not of this world, otherwise my servants would fight. To this end is why I came, so the truth would come to the light."

Pilate asked, "What is truth?" He now desired to set Jesus free. Pilate spoke to the others, "I find no guilt in Him, should He be the one I release?" Pilate said this because the Jews had a custom during their Passover feast, on this day, a prisoner of theirs would be given his release.

"No!" They cried, "Not this man!" It was Barabbas who they did choose. They would rather free a criminal then one who revealed the truth.

Chapter 19

Pilate then had Jesus whipped, more severely than the rest. Then a crown of thorns was taken and placed upon His head. They took a purple robe, and mocked Him with their speech, "Peace to you, King of the Jews!" Then they struck Him on His cheeks.

Pilate then went out and spoke, hoping the Jews would be pleased. He was in hope that this punishment would be enough, and Jesus would be released. But they cried all the louder, "We want Him crucified!" Pilate said, "You take Him! I find no reason for Him to die."

The Jews cried out, "We have a law, which makes Him guilty of death. He has made Him to be the Son of God, with Him alive, we have no rest!"

Pilate became afraid, as these sayings he heard. He asked, Jesus, where do you come from?" Jesus spoke not a word.

Pilate said, "Will you not speak, when I have authority? I can have you crucified, or I can have you released!"

Jesus answered, "The only authority you have, is what my Father has given you. The greater sin lies with those, who have delivered me unto you.

Pilate desired to release Jesus, but the Jews cried out, "Then you arent a friend of Caesar!" These words caused Pilate fear and doubt. Pilate then handed Jesus over to be crucified. The Jews denied Him as their King and led Him forth to die.

It was a place called, The Skull where Jesus was crucified, and with Him were two others, one on each side. Pilate wrote on a stone and placed it on the cross, Jesus, King of the Jews. Was His Kingdom now lost?

"Do not write, King of the Jews, but that He said, I am a King." Pilate replied, "What I have written is what all shall see."

The soldiers took Jesus clothes and divided them into four. They threw dice for His robe; it had been made without a seam, and they didnt want it tore.

Jesus saw Mary at the cross, He then spoke to John, "Take her as your mother; Mary, take him as your son." Then knowing all was complete and scripture was now fulfilled, He drank then cried, "It is finished." and gave up the Spirit at will.

The Sabbath was now coming, which was an important day. They wanted the bodies removed, they wanted them taken away. The Jews requested to break their legs, as this would hurry their death, but when they got to Jesus, they found that He was already dead. One of the soldiers took his spear and pierced Jesus in the side. Blood and water gushed out; I, John saw this with my own eyes. Another scripture was verified that Not a bone of His would be broken. They looked up at Him, whom they pierced, another scripture that had been spoken.

Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple who believed secretly, went and spoke to Pilate and said, "Give His body to me." Nicodemus also came, and they prepared Jesus to be buried. They bound Him in linen with spices; the Sabbath was near and they had to hurry.

Near the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden with a tomb. No one had ever been laid there. This now became Jesus room.

Chapter 20

The first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb. As she drew near, she found that the stone had been removed. She ran and told Peter, and also told John. "They have taken away the Lord! You must help me find Him, Cmon!

John and Peter ran together, and Peter got there last. John looked in and saw the linen clothes, but Peter entered the tomb real fast.

The burial napkin, which had been around Jesus head, it wasnt lying with the linen clothes. It was rolled up by itself instead.

John then entered the tomb; he was convinced, and now he believed. No one had yet understood the scripture, which spoke that this was to be.

Peter and John then left that place and returned to their home. Mary Magdalene stayed behind weeping, but she was not alone. She looked into the tomb and saw two angels sitting there. "Why are you weeping?" They asked. "There is no need to shed a tear."

"They have taken away my Lord, and I dont know where He is." She then turned and saw a man, who asked, "Woman, why do you weep like this?"

Thinking it was the Gardner, Mary then replied, "Sir, have you taken my Lord? Please, tell me, where does He now lie?"

Jesus said, "Mary." Her eyes were then opened, and she recognized, this was her Lord and Savior, and she gazed at Him with her eyes. Mary desired to embrace Him, so her joy she could express. Jesus said, "No Mary, I have not ascended to my Father yet. Go and tell my brothers that I am ascending to our Father, My God and you God, as we belong to one another."

Mary and told the disciples all that she had seen; how Jesus had appeared to her and the message He told her to bring.

On that same first day, while it was evening, Jesus appeared before them and said, "To you, it is peace that I bring." He showed them His hands and His side, so they would know that it was He. As they recognized their Lord, they were filled with ecstasy.

"Peace to you! As the Father sent me forth, now it is you that I send." He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Ghost" and His Spirit entered them. "If you forgive anyones sin, then they are forgiven; if you choose not to forgive, then they will remain bound in sin."

Thomas had not been among the others, when Jesus had appeared to the rest of them. He wanted proof of the nail prints, when they spoke of this to him.

Eight days later, when the disciples were all gathered in the house, Jesus appeared and said, "Hey Thomas, come and check it out. Reach out your finger and put it into my hands; stick your hand into my side and believe, because now, know you can."

Thomas, then ashamed, cried out, "My Lord and my God!" Now he truly believed that Jesus was the Son of God.

Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have not seen, yet they still believe. These are the ones who trust and they shall be envied."

There were many other signs that Jesus did perform, but only these were written, so you would believe and transform.

Chapter 21

After these things, Jesus again appeared to His disciples, while they were at sea. This is how He revealed Himself so they would know that it was He:

There was Simon Peter, Thomas, and Nathaniel from Galilee. There were two other disciples, plus the sons of Zebedee.

Peter said, "Im going fishing." They replied, "Well go along." Although they fished all night, everything went wrong.

In the morning, as the sun began to rise, they saw a man standing on the shore. They all looked up and gazed at Him with their eyes.

The man spoke, "Children, do you have any meat?" "No. They called out, since they had caught nothing to eat. He spoke again and said, "Cast your net on the other side." They did as He had said and caught so many fish, the net was too heavy to lift inside.

Suddenly John realized that it was Jesus on the shore. He spoke it to Peter, who grabbed his coat and then jumped overboard.

The rest stayed in the boat and loaded in the net. As they drew closer, they saw a fire with coals, along with some fish and bread.

"Bring some of the fish youve caught." Jesus said to them. He was preparing a meal that He would serve to them.

Simon Peter went and dragged the net to the shore; he had strength to do it all alone, because now he was focused on his Lord.

Jesus called for them to eat, and none of them asked if it were He. They were all quite certain, as now their hearts could see.

Jesus then took bread and fish and gave to each of them. This was now the third time He appeared, from the time that He had risen.

After they had eaten, to Simon Peter, He then spoke, "Do you love me more than these?" Peter replied, "Lord, you know."

Three times Jesus asked Him this very same question. Simon Peter became grieved, but it brought restoration.

"Feed my lambs", Jesus said, "and take care of my sheep." He spoke of what was to come and then said, "Follow Me" Im telling you, when you were young, you went wherever you desired. When you are old, your hands will be stretched out to another, he will take you into your fire."

Peter then asked Jesus, "What shall become of John?" Jesus answered, "That isnt for you to think on. If I were to say that He would live until I return again, what difference would that make to you? Watch that which you have been given."

Because of this word, many thought John would not see death; this is not what Jesus spoke, they misunderstood what He said. I am that disciple of who those words were. I saw these events and recorded them, so your hearts would stir.

There were many other things that Jesus said and did, if they were to all be written, there would be no space where they could fit.
