Taking The Initiative

What a joy it is for me to be able to allow the Spirit in me to operate and pour out on you and to see you grow.

Something is happening. It would be good for all of us to open up. We will either do it now or do it later. We will finally open up. We have to be a vessel that is open. We cannot sit closed. We cannot continue to condemn ourselves or to withdraw because we are not what we wanted to be. Maybe you think you were not born in the right race or in a rich family. We have got to go ahead and praise God no matter who we are and become what He wants to make us.

There is a verse of scripture that you need to memorize and confess as a source of power in your life. John 11:25. It is an easy verse, but a powerful one. These are the words of our Savior who lives within us. I always think when I read this that this is the same voice that is within me. It is as if I am hearing this from within me, because it is the same.

John 11:25

I hide little verses like this in my heart. My Savior who lives in me is saying, " I am the resurrection and the life." It means I have resurrection and life within me. I encourage you to learn the verse. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is in me and with me. He has already said that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said. " I will never leave you nor forsake you." -(NKJ)

He is bringing us some final instructions. Here is one of them. If you are just living by the letter, it will kill you. If you believe by faith it will start working in you. It will work in you and it will give you life. He is life. Take the two scriptures and let them work in you.

We have to go beyond living by the letter. We have to allow the word to become life and power on an everyday basis. Some of you may be doing this to some degree already. When we first come into this word it works at a lower level. As we start hearing the things of God, they start working at a higher level in us. Now, as we apply a higher level, we see the manifestation of that word. We need to allow it to start working at an even higher level.

There are supernatural things that God will do. God is a God of the supernatural.

You cannot base things on the past. You have to base them on the now. You may have operated in a lower level of faith earlier, and God moved in spite of it. Then, at another level in life, you may have operated at a higher level of faith. You saw God move. He moved for you.

I first came into the baptism of the Holy Spirit many years ago. God began to bring me into this message. Then He began to withdraw me. He told me He was going to do it. I saw crooked legs made straight. I saw legs grow. I saw a child that had a short leg. I saw that leg grow right out. I saw an eyeball form where there had been no eye, just a socket. A brand new eyeball was formed. I could go on and on about all that happened. It was dramatic. God spoke to me when He began to bring me into the sonship message. It was His plan to bring me into this message. I knew nothing about it. He said that He was going to withdraw the gifts that He had given to me on one level. He did not tell me to stop praying for people. Many people that have been healed, and there have been miracles.

God had a plan for me. He had a plan for me to go beyond the gifts. He had His hand on me for another day, for a greater hour. We are there!

We are going to see so much in just days ahead. Many types of saints in the Old Testament went within the veil. We are about to see a people go within the veil. We know without a shadow of a doubt that happens at the change of the millennium.

We have to hear the word! We have to lose our number (6). We have to overcome it. What do we have to overcome? Our natural state. What is killing us? The natural. Where is death? It is in the natural realm. There is no death in the spiritual realm. Let’s settle this in our minds. There is no death in the spirit realm.

There are types in the Old Testament of those that went behind the veil. We are going behind the veil as well. It is going to happen. God planned the whole thing. He planned day one, two, three, and four. Right at the beginning of day five, God brought man out of the law and into His grace. Five is the number of the grace of God. God right now is bringing some people right out of their human nature at the end of the sixth day. Six is the number of man in his fallen condition. It is the mark of the beast, 6-6-6.

We are a tri-partite man: we are spirit, soul, and body. So the number "six" has been working in our spirit, soul, and body. We have had death, death, death. God is bringing a people to the place where death has no more power.

We have had gifts of the spirit. Prepare for a new thrust. The gifts of the spirit are going to come to an end. We are going to see a people that are not going to operate in the gifts. They have had gifts, but they are no longer operating out of the gifts. They are now operating out of the power of a resurrected life. Jesus did not have gifts. He did not operate by a gift. He operated out of the power of a God life.

That doesn’t mean that we should not pray for people or lay hands on them and let the gift work.

It will shift soon from a gift to full power from a life. Everybody you touch will be healed. Everybody that Jesus touched was healed.

He did not operate by a gift when He was resurrecting a person from the grave. He was the resurrection. All He had to do was send Himself into the situation. We are going to shift from the gifts to resurrection life! When I talk about it, I feel it working in me. I feel it rising up in me. I want it to rise up in you! Let this resurrection life that is in us rise up!

The Old Testament contains many types of the saints that went behind the veil. Among them was Enoch. Another was Abraham. There was Moses and Aaron. There were fourteen judges. You can read about them in 1 Samuel. There was David and Elijah. Zerubbabel. Zerubbabel was a Prince. There was Joshua. He became the High Priest.

In the New Testament there was John the beloved. Paul was a man ahead of his time. We have to understand. We may think that Paul was just an ordinary person. No, Paul was ahead of his time.

1 Corinthians 15:8

We know that Paul was stoned to death. As the last stage of stoning, they took the head stone, which was a big stone, and crush the head of the person being stoned. They would throw stones at the person until his bones were broken and his body was laid open and bleeding. Then they would crush his head. They stoned Paul. If you read the Bible, however, you will see that the very next day he was out in the city preaching again. We do not read that there was anything wrong with him. Believe it.

There is another…Benjamin. He is known as the added son. We have an army on the other side that is waiting on us. They are waiting on us. What a crew waiting for us!

There are even many representatives of Levi. Joseph, Mannasah and Ephraim. They are called the Barley Bread people. We need to understand that they have already gone ahead of us. They are in a place. They are waiting for us. They are also named in the Bible as the remnant. They are also called the handful of corn up on top of the mountain. They are called the little flock.

All of this also reflects to us. We are going to become one with them and they are going to become one with us. They are waiting on us. What an army. They are called mighty ones in the Bible. They are also called the new sharp threshing instruments having teeth. Not just instruments, but threshing instruments having teeth. They are also called the overcomers. This group is also called the two olive trees. They are also called the servant of Jehovah, the branch.

We could have put on the sign out front, " This is the church for the new sharp threshing instruments having teeth." I have a feeling we would have had a lot of telephone calls.

The good news is that God stands inside every gate and says, "Come, the gate is open." He can open and He can shut. The Bible says to give diligence to make your calling and election sure.

There are those that are making their calling and election sure in the outer court. The outer court is not in the temple. The temple starts with the Holy Place. It will be included, but God is not going to deal with those in the outer court until He has first dealt with the Sons of God and the Holy Place people. Those that have the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It is going to take the sons of God a thousand years to restore the Holy Place People. The Outer Court will be dealt with after that.

We are going through a training period. Do not take this as just a word. This is not for entertainment. It is to get you ready and trained for what God is about to do. You have to receive this in your heart. When God brings the sons of God on the scene, there will be no more baptism in the Holy Ghost. It will be over.

After sonship is established and manifested, God is going to deal with the Pentecostal Holy Ghost people. After that He will deal with the Outer Court. This is going to happen at the beginning of the seventh day, the new millennium.

What is it that all of the saints on the other side are waiting for? Why do you think they are hanging around? They are waiting for us. They are waiting for the manifestation. At the manifestation, we will be joined together. What an army. Enoch, Abraham, Moses, Aaron, the fourteen Judges, David, Elijah, Zerubbabel, and Joshua. It will be interesting to fellowship with Joshua, and John the beloved, and Paul. All of them called the remnant. We could go on and on. It is the remnant. It is the handful-of- corn-upon-the-top-of-the-mountain people.

God stands inside of each gate. He says, "Come." It is up to us to enter in and possess our possessions. He is not just going to give them to us. We have to possess them. We have to go in and take the land.

The Bible says that Enoch walked with God. It is not written that God walked with Enoch. What was Enoch doing? He was possessing his possession, and he walked right into it and he never died. He still has his body.

If you are called of God to possess your possession, you cannot let a husband or wife stop you, you cannot let a job stop you. You cannot let anything of this earth stop you. You cannot let anything that has caused your heart to throb stop you. You cannot let possessions or a love for money stop you. You cannot let your best friend stop you. In fact, you should not have a best friend outside of Jesus. You could end up worshipping your best friend. I have heard people say that they could not live without their best friend, husband, wife, or children. There is no life in any of those without Jesus. He is your best friend.

This is tough, but it does not have to be as tough as you may make it. Jesus should be your best friend. He should be number one in your life. Nothing else. It is clean-up time. We, as overcomers together, are the ones that are going to become one. We cannot become one until we become one with Him. It will not happen any other way.

What is it that you want the most? We get so wrapped up in our jobs. There is nothing wrong with having a job. Praise God that He gives you a way to get money to make things work. It cannot be number one in your life. It cannot be the greatest thing for which you are seeking.

When you make Him number one in your life, you make your calling and election sure and you will not have to worry about an income. You will not have to worry about anything.

When God begins a brand new thing, He always starts off with eight individuals (1+7). We see that in Noah. Noah was one, and his family was seven. We see that with Jesus. Jesus was one and there were seven that brought Him forth (Zacharias, Elizabeth, John the Baptist, Mary, Joseph, Simeon, and Anna). The wise men knew where He was to be born but they were not there. Where were all the great religious leaders of that day? They were still doing their own activities in the temple, and the real temple was over there in a little basket. We are talking about God Himself. When Simeon was picking up the baby Jesus, he was picking up God Himself. He was holding the salvation of the world, right in his hands. Anna the prophetess knew who Jesus was. John the Baptist knew that Jesus was God. He knew that his first cousin was God.

John the Baptist was the forerunner that went before Him. He lost his head. He went through an experience of losing his head. There is a message in that. We are going to lose ours, not literally, but we are going to lose our mind and take on the mind of God.

Enoch walked right into God. God responded to him and took him in. He disappeared right into God. He can also re-appear. He probably has many times.

God stands inside each gate and says, "Whosoever will may come." That is good news. If the inheritors were already predestined, then it is possible that some of us may not be in that group. It would be foolish for me to stand hour after hour and service after service bringing this message. Why would you have to be an overcomer, if it were all predestined? There are a lot of people out there teaching that the inheritor is predestined. It is false teaching. You and I are the ones that have to overcome. God stands at the door and knocks. He says come in. It is up to us to enter in.

Thousands need to hear this message. We have to do it. We have to possess our possessions.

1 Peter 1:9

What a powerful verse of scripture. Receiving the end of your faith means coming to the end of your faith. When you and I come to the end of our faith, our souls are saved. That is the key! That is the door! When it happens to us, when our soul is saved, then sin is no more.

Have you ever been to a revival where they asked how many souls were saved? In reality not one soul was saved. If their souls were really saved, their bodies would never die. Salvation of the soul has to happen in order for your body to be changed from mortal to immortal.

Remember that when Peter wrote this passage, God was all over him. We see a fisherman turned into a powerhouse. He was probably the oldest of all of the disciples. He was probably about twenty-one. The rest of the boys were in their late teens.

We know that several of them were half brothers to Jesus. Jesus was their elder brother. He had to be the elder brother because He was the pattern. He is our elder brother.

Even the angels out of the heavens wanted to know more about such a salvation. We are to gird up the loins of our mind. GIRD UP THE PROCREATION POWER! Peter is writing some powerful things here. He is no longer a fisherman. He has moved from being a common fisherman to a prophet of God. He was writing of a time that was going to happen. We are living in that time. I believe that with all of my heart.

We have had a time during which the grace of God ministered life to us. NOW WE HAVE COME TO THE RENEWAL OF OUR MINDS. LET US GIRD UP THE LOINS OF OUR MINDS!

What does incorruptible means? It means there is no death. This is an introduction tonight to a brand new position. Receive that in the name of Jesus. Love each other with a genuine love. Walk in it.
